Company Overview:
A global investment firm with $5.5 billion in assets under management, specializing in the biopharmaceutical and medical technologies sectors, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its dynamic Tax team. This role will focus on managing tax compliance and implementing strategic tax initiatives across the firm's investment fund structures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the tax compliance process for hedge fund, private equity, and other investment fund structures
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on the analysis of tax adjustments and the preparation of tax returns, Schedule K-1s, and other tax deliverables
• Assist with strategic tax structuring for domestic and foreign fund vehicles
• Conduct research on technical tax issues and manage ad hoc tax projects
• Implement tax initiatives that align with the firm's business objectives
• Collaborate with teams across the firm to provide expertise on all tax-related matters

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant tax experience at a large national CPA firm and/or private investment firm
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or tax; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of partnership taxation and complex book/tax adjustments, including securities and transaction analysis
• Extensive understanding of hedge fund and private equity allocation methodologies
• Significant experience reviewing tax returns, Schedule K-1s, and various other tax filings
• Familiarity with international tax matters, including PFIC/CFC rules, withholding tax regimes, and foreign tax filings
• Ability to identify and research tax considerations for domestic and foreign transactions

Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $185,000, Plus Bonus
