Company Overview:
A New York-based investment and advisory firm with over $2 billion in commitments is seeking a Loan Operations Senior Accountant. This role will be the first in-house operational middle-office finance resource dedicated to overseeing all aspects of deal closing, treasury management, and support performance reporting for their credit platform.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support deal transaction closing process by coordinating documentation and funding
• Act as lead liaison between investment team, finance team, compliance, loan counter-party, and external service providers
• Provide data for management dashboards and risk monitoring
• Assist coordination of quarterly valuations performed by external pricing vendors
• Review and reconcile valuation reports to supporting documents
• Support investor and management reporting and regulatory reports (e.g. Form ADV, PF, Annex IV, 10-Q/K)
• Assist in audits (internal and external) and respond to auditor queries
• Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives
• Support, lead, and manage installation of loan operations and portfolio management systems
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues across systems

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience, CPA preferred
• Highly organized individual able to communicate across multiple projects and teams
• Ability to innovate and build new and existing processes to meet business needs
• Agile work professional, adept at quickly adapting to changes in the business
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with investors, auditors, and senior executives

Compensation:
Salary: $115,000 – $135,000, Plus Bonus
