Company Overview:
A global asset management firm with over $30 billion in assets under management, focusing on a multi-strategy, multi-asset class approach to investing across the credit universe. The firm is seeking an Associate, Management Company Accountant to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end process, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation, and depreciation/amortization of fixed assets and prepaids
• Follow up on all management fees and performance fees receivables
• Review all expense reports and perform consolidations for foreign offices
• Coordinate with third-party accountants for foreign offices’ month-end close
• Provide expense variance analysis with supporting schedules for all entities
• Daily management company cash management
• Monthly review of corporate card activities, including assessing sales & use tax on purchases
• Assist with expense budgeting and forecasting for all offices
• Assist in foreign offices audited financial statements, quarterly VAT filing, corporate tax payments, review of ICARA, and FCA filings
• Update and maintain all vendor contracts, including collection of usage data and updating contract details in the in-house database
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the management company accounting function and other ad hoc projects

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of accounting experience, with knowledge of GAAP including consolidation principles, accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures
• CPA or working towards a CPA
• Experience with asset management or financial services clients is a plus
• Strong Excel and Word skills

Compensation:
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000, Plus Bonus
