Company Overview:
A leading investment firm with over $50 billion in committed capital, specializing in customized financing solutions for middle-market private equity firms, is seeking a Senior Associate, BDC. The role involves managing fund accounting and financial reporting processes for their BDC operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day fund accounting and financial reporting processes for the BDC.
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP and the 1940 Act.
• Lead SEC reporting processes, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements, and other filings.
• Oversee BDC NAV calculations, dividend declarations, and related board materials.
• Coordinate with external auditors, fund administrators, legal counsel, and tax advisors.
• Manage debt facility compliance reporting and monitor covenant calculations.
• Assist with investor reporting, capital activity tracking, and waterfall calculations.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with Investor Relations on earnings materials and shareholder communications.
• Support valuation processes for private debt investments in partnership with the Valuation Committee.
• Lead process improvement projects, including automation and system implementations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience in fund accounting, public/private BDCs, or credit-focused investment management firms.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP, BDC regulatory framework, and 1940 Act requirements.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• Experience coordinating with third-party fund administrators and service providers.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with financial reporting tools is helpful.

Compensation:
Salary: $125,000 – $175,000, Plus Bonus
