Company Overview:
A leading global private investment firm is seeking a Manager for their Central Data Governance Team. This role will focus on driving transformational changes for the Credit and Special Situations businesses.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and drive efficiency around end-to-end workflows
  • Map out processes from data collection to end-user reporting with enhanced quality controls
  • Prioritize and oversee key IT projects impacting data and reporting
  • Partner with stakeholders to design system architecture and implement data strategies
  • Ensure data architecture, completeness, quality, and transparency for automated reporting
  • Act as a change agent to reduce manual processes and develop consistent approaches
  • Use SQL or machine learning to build reasonability tests and create alerts
  • Document key data terms, processes, and protocols for transparency and efficiency
  • Identify data and reporting challenges, track issues, and design remediation controls
  • Develop and track progress of data and reporting health KPIs/metrics
  • Build scalable data and process solutions for business-specific and firmwide needs

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in asset management or a closely related field
  • Experience in Finance, Operations, or data governance programs
  • Strong understanding of multiple asset classes, including fixed income and private equity
  • Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong process discipline and ability to design and improve processes
  • Comfort with a data-intensive and demanding environment

Compensation:
Salary: $125,000 – $140,000, Plus Bonus
