A mid-sized structured credit fund seeks an outgoing, highly motivated and experienced New York-based professional to focus on fundraising and marketing.
 
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, generating investor prospect leads, arranging meetings, nurturing relationships, and shepherding prospects through the diligence process. Travel for prospect meetings, conferences and road shows.

Experience

• 3+ years of fundraising experience at a fund or financial institution.
• Working knowledge of financial markets with a particular interest in corporate and structured credit as well as a strong desire, initiative, and ability to work well with others in a fluid and collegial alternative asset management company.
• Ideally West Coast connections.
• Four-year bachelor’s degree (or comparable equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Experience working using Excel and CRM databases.
• Familiarity with capital markets and institutional participants.
• Knowledge of Structured Credit and Collateralized Loan Obligations preferred but not necessary. 
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills required.
