A Boston-based, global, multi-strategy hedge fund with over $3B in AUM is looking to bring on a Global Controller.  The role will report into the COO/CFO and have direct exposure to Senior Management/Founder.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all Accounting, Financial Statements and Reporting for Hedge Fund.  
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with external administrators, auditors and tax accountants to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Monitor the Fund’s expenses including management fees, performance fees and other costs.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Supervise staff in Accounting and Operations

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Fund Accounting Experience (ideally from both public accounting and private experience)
• Strong understanding of hedge fund structures and operations
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to lead/mentor staff
