Company Overview:
A leading private markets investment firm with over 40 years of experience is seeking a Global Controller to lead their Accounting, Reporting, and Financial Systems teams. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to both public and private entities across their global offices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the legal entity structure for accounting and reporting purposes and prepare proper accounting consolidation.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial statements and reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and file foreign office financial statements in compliance with local statutory and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor regulatory and working capital requirements and ensure related reporting requirements are consistently met.
• Partner with external auditors to facilitate successful and timely completion of annual audits.
• Ensure internal controls over financial reporting meet the requirements of the COSO’s Internal Control – Integrated Framework.
• Monitor for changes to processes and implement internal control improvements as necessary.
• Oversee cash management processes to ensure cash balances meet regulatory and working capital requirements.
• Monitor for new or changed FASB / SEC guidance and develop project plans for proper adoption.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience in accounting, preferably in private markets.
• Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
• Strong technical background in US GAAP.
• Significant experience with the COSO’s Internal Control – Integrated Framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Evidence of strong team management skills.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
