Company Overview:
A global alternative investment management firm with approximately $3.7 billion in assets under management is seeking to hire an Investor Relations Associate. The firm focuses on macro and fixed income relative value investment strategies across global markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research, maintain, and provide notes and essential data for client reporting.
• Assist with investor meetings and conference calls, including preparing documents and supporting materials.
• Support capital introduction efforts by tracking introductions and follow-ups.
• Provide coverage support by responding to investors and monitoring the IR inbox.
• Gather information for external reporting and distribute investor reporting deliverables.
• Produce marketing decks and ad hoc reports for investors and the client team.
• Maintain an up-to-date CRM and update distribution lists.
• Coordinate with the client team to maintain a pipeline of future investor flows.
• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and provide updates.
• Become a Backstop expert user to assist with reporting.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or communications.
• 3-10 years of experience at a financial services organization, ideally hedge funds or macro/fixed income experience.
• Prior roles in investor relations/business development, operations, or fund administration preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Backstop and Microsoft Office, with a focus on PowerPoint and Excel.
