Company Overview:
A New York City-based SEC-registered investment adviser, specializing in international equities with a focus on micro and small-cap securities, is seeking an Operations Associate. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead trading operations and gain exposure to investor relations and marketing within a dynamic hedge fund environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Craft unconventional approaches to sourcing trading volume without affecting stock prices.
• Work closely with the investment team to design strategies for trading goals.
• Maintain relationships and execute trades with multiple sell-side traders.
• Perform trading operations tasks.
• Support the creation of marketing materials, presentations, and reports for existing and prospective LPs.
• Manage communication with investors, including responding to LP inquiries.
• Maintain and expand network with prospective investors, including mapping the LP universe.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience in finance, trading operations, capital formation, hedge fund operations, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial platforms like Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
