Company Overview:
A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join its Venture Finance team. The role involves managing key financial tasks and supporting strategic and operational initiatives within the venture and growth stage investment sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Quarterly US GAAP Basis Reporting and annual US GAAP Basis audit
• Annual Tax Basis Book Preparation; working with internal tax department and external advisers regarding tax implications of complex investment transactions
• Cash flow management, capital calls, and cash and stock distributions
• Work with partners on portfolio company cap table/round modeling and liquidation analyses
• Create fund performance and waterfall analyses
• Review and analysis of portfolio company financials for quarterly partner portfolio review meetings
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly portfolio company valuations and prepare summarized data for partner presentations
• Respond to requests and inquiries of limited partners and their representatives
• Work with Investor Relations in preparation of presentation materials and fundraising documents
• Understand and document investment transactions; work with deal staff and outside advisors on deal closings and harvest transactions
• Analyze various fund activities to ensure compliance with partnership agreements
• Collaborate with the CFO / Finance Director on projects to enhance team and firm productivity

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years in Public Accounting or related experience in an in-house accounting & finance role
• Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with Microsoft Access a plus
