Company Overview:
A leading U.S. real estate company with a focus on commercial real estate, managing nearly $41 billion in assets, is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant. This role will support the organization and its client companies by researching and documenting technical accounting considerations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a resource for assessing and documenting technical accounting considerations.
• Research new or proposed accounting standards and their impacts.
• Assist with SEC filings and financial reporting.
• Analyze and document property activity, including purchase accounting and impairment.
• Assist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and process automation.
• Present technical accounting analysis to Senior Leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or private industry; CPA required.
• Strong technical accounting (US GAAP) and business writing skills.
• Experience with public company reporting.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and other Windows applications.
