Company Overview:
A global alternative investment manager with approximately $7 billion in assets, invests across the capital structure in various asset classes, industries, and geographies. The firm is seeking a tax professional to join their team and support the strategic vision of the fund.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead all aspects of the tax compliance process for all entities
• Support the Tax Director on all transaction reviews
• Collaborate with finance, legal, deal, and executive teams to integrate tax considerations into investment and business decisions
• Manage compliance of U.S. Withholding tax documentation and U.S. FATCA reporting
• Stay informed of evolving US and international tax laws and regulations
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the tax and finance function
• Contribute to tax-adjacent firm processes and initiatives such as new fund launches and entity management
• Responsible for the completion and filing of tax returns for investment funds
• Develop proactive tax strategies and ensure effective process execution
• Research, develop documentation, and respond to tax correspondence

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Master’s degree in taxation or CPA preferred
• 4-7 years of experience in tax leadership roles within a global organization, preferably in private equity or financial services
• Deep understanding of tax compliance and reporting calendar
• Strong strategic mindset and ability to align tax initiatives with business objectives
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
