Company Overview:
A leading financial technology firm with over $200 billion in global client assets is seeking an Equity Management professional to join their Corporate Finance department. This role focuses on equity management within the Corporate Reporting team, offering opportunities to shape a rapidly growing area of equity management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Address internal and external shareholder inquiries through a ticketing system and create new drafts of stakeholder communications.
• Develop and deliver training materials for global employees on equity compensation topics.
• Partner with various teams on initiatives like processing new equity awards and stock option exercises.
• Identify gaps in current processes, implement internal controls, and drive improvements in equity and reporting workflows.
• Support ad hoc initiatives such as equity accounting analysis and M&A integrations.
• Assist with monthly reporting of the company’s capitalization table and stock-based compensation calculations.
• Input, extract, and analyze data using equity management software and Excel.
• Prepare equity-related journal entries using platforms like NetSuite and Carta.
• Manage domestic and international tax reporting for option exercises and taxable income.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in financial services.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Experience with equity management software and general ledger systems preferred.
• General US GAAP accounting knowledge, particularly stock-based compensation accounting.
• Understanding of company capital structures and familiarity with 409A valuations.
