Company Overview:
A tech-focused financial services firm is seeking a Tax Manager / Senior Manager / Director to join its Tax Technology Team. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking environment that is redefining how tax services are delivered through the use of advanced automation and technology.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key member of the Tax Technology Team, leading client engagements that leverage automation tools (Claude, ChatGPT, AI) to streamline tax preparation, review, and advisory processes.
• Manage and deliver high-quality tax compliance and planning services for a portfolio of individual, corporate, and partnership clients.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and AI teams to identify automation opportunities and enhance the firm’s technology capabilities.
• Oversee the implementation of technology-driven process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, train, and mentor junior tax professionals, promoting best practices in technology adoption and client service.
• Partner with product and operations teams to design scalable workflows that improve client outcomes.
• Provide insight and expertise on federal and state tax matters, ensuring thorough and compliant deliverables.
• Engage in business development and growth initiatives, including attending industry events, client networking, and showcasing the firm’s technology-driven approach.

Qualifications:

• Experience in public accounting with a strong background in tax technology, automation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of individual (1040), S-Corporation (1120-S), and Partnership (1065) returns.
• Proficiency in Drake, ProConnect, and/or Lacerte tax software.
• Demonstrated success in business development or client relationship expansion activities.

Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $225,000 + Plus Equity
