Company Overview:
A leading global sovereign wealth fund with over $380 billion in assets under management is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to join its Technology Group. This role focuses on building, securing, and maintaining Microsoft 365 services to ensure optimal performance and robust security.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations and health of core M365 & AVD services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and AVD.
• Manage and optimize device compliance, configuration profiles, and application protection policies in Intune.
• Administer M365 tenant settings, including license management and governance controls.
• Execute and maintain operational automation using PowerShell scripts.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex service issues across hybrid and cloud M365 environments.
• Enforce Conditional Access, MFA, and device compliance policies.
• Conduct regular reviews of Secure Score and compliance insights.
• Respond to and coordinate the resolution of security alerts and incidents.
• Support integration of M365 services with on-prem Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, and security platforms.
• Manage hybrid identity operations, including AAD Connect synchronization.
• Collaborate with Security, Cloud Infrastructure, and End User Engineering teams.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and develop runbooks for common workflows.
• Monitor Microsoft 365 roadmap updates and drive continuous improvement in service reliability.

Qualifications:

• At least 12 years total IT experience, with 5+ years hands-on in M365 operations.
• Deep technical knowledge of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Defender suite, Purview Compliance, and Entra ID security controls.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience managing hybrid identity setups and understanding of Zero Trust concepts.
• Microsoft Certified: M365 Security Administrator Associate (MS-500) preferred.
• Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-100/MS-101) preferred.
• SC-300 or AZ-500 certification is a strong plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM tools.
• Familiarity with API integrations or Graph API for M365 automation.

Compensation:
Salary: $140,000 – $180,000
