Company Overview:
A private equity firm focused on U.S.-based middle-market companies operates across multiple sectors, including healthcare, consumer products, retail, industrials, and communications. They are seeking a Family Office Senior Fund Accountant to join their Boston-based team to manage accounting and reporting for pooled investment vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile the Funds' books and records, including managing day-to-day accounting activities and executing quarterly close processes.
• Oversee the preparation and review of audited financial statements and manage the annual audit process with external auditors.
• Review Fund tax workpapers and coordinate the tax compliance process with external accounting firms.
• Assist with general fund administration, including reviewing legal documentation for new investments and facilitating investor requests.
• Oversee cash management activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all Fund-related cash flows.
• Work closely with Family Office Fund Accountants and Treasury Specialist to leverage technology for process improvements.
• Act as a backup for the current Family Office Senior Fund Accountant on various projects.

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in a public accounting firm, family office, fund administrator, or investment management firm with a focus on investment fund accounting and tax.
• Knowledge of partnership taxation and the investment industry, with prior experience in fund of funds being helpful.
• Proficient in Excel and Word, with experience in accounting and reporting software like Addepar being a plus.
• CPA is a plus but not required.

Compensation:
Salary: $90,000 – $125,000, Plus Bonus
