Company Overview:
An expanding global law practice is looking to add a meticulous and proactive paralegal to its team. This position provides direct involvement in sophisticated legal matters, partnering closely with attorneys to facilitate case progression, oversee documentation processes, and contribute to research efforts. The successful candidate will help drive organization and efficiency across active matters within a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys in the preparation, editing, and finalization of legal documentation, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and written correspondence
  • Maintain and structure case files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and ease of access
  • Track court deadlines and manage calendaring to ensure all filings meet jurisdictional requirements
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients by collecting information, coordinating meetings, and relaying case updates
  • Handle filing of legal documents in both state and federal courts
  • Assist with discovery efforts, including gathering, reviewing, and organizing materials in accordance with ESI standards
  • Prepare materials and logistics for depositions, hearings, and trial proceedings
  • Analyze and summarize documents, records, and deposition transcripts related to cases
  • Provide administrative and operational support to attorneys, including scheduling depositions and managing case-related logistics
  • Perform citation verification and Bluebook formatting

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in a paralegal or legal support capacity, ideally within corporate or complex litigation environments
  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with document and case management platforms (such as Clio, iManage, Everlaw, DISCO, or comparable systems), as well as e-filing tools including NYSCEF and CM/ECF
  • Hands-on experience with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Everlaw, DISCO) to manage high-volume document review and organization
  • Background in legal research and drafting materials to support attorney deliverables
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of precision given interaction with regulatory bodies and government entities

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday through Thursday; remote work on Mondays and Fridays
