Company Overview:
A leading healthcare investment firm with over $15 billion in assets under management is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. The role will focus on providing technical and application support in a high-availability, front-office environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and application support for trading and investment professionals.
  • Provide day-to-day support for trading applications and OMS/EMS platforms, focusing on application availability, access, connectivity, performance, and system stability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve time-sensitive application, workstation, and connectivity issues.
  • Partner with traders, portfolio managers, operations, internal IT teams, and external vendors to diagnose and resolve trading technology issues.
  • Support and maintain Windows, macOS, and iOS endpoints, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and trading floor hardware.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain workstations, trading tools, printers, phones, and conference room AV systems.
  • Manage the full desktop and laptop lifecycle, including imaging, provisioning, MDM enrollment, encryption, patching, and asset tracking.
  • Assist with moves, new hire setups, onboarding/offboarding, and firm-wide training.
  • Participate in system upgrades, platform changes, vendor coordination, and application testing.
  • Ensure conference rooms, meeting spaces, and trading floor technology are consistently functional and production-ready.
  • Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and best practices in internal knowledge bases and IT documentation systems.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT desktop, application, or end-user support, preferably within financial services or trading environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS workstations, peripherals, and endpoint software.
  • Familiarity with front-office trading applications and tools, including supporting application access, performance, and connectivity.
  • Solid understanding of core IT concepts, including LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security.
  • Experience using IT service management tools for incident tracking, prioritization, and documentation.
  • Preferred skills include Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, FlexTrade OMS/EMS, Active Directory/Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, and Jira ITSM.

Compensation:
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000, Plus Bonus
