Company Overview:
A leading global private investment firm with approximately $215 billion in assets under management is seeking a professional to join its General Partner Group. This role will focus on treasury, accounting, tax, and fair market value reporting functions across various business units.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage operations and administrative activities of partnerships, including cash management, capital calls, cash distributions, and cash reconciliations.
• Handle carry, vesting, and profit/loss allocations to partners and members of the General Partner entities.
• Conduct quarterly and annual fair-market-value reporting, including supporting documentation for capital accounts and financial reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly tax estimates and annual tax books and reporting for partnerships.
• Enter cash, book, and tax journal entries into Investran, the third-party portfolio management and accounting software.
• Assist in generating responses to investor inquiries and requests for information.
• Create reports for GP investors, including fair market value, tax basis activity, and partnership investment reports.
• Collaborate with other teams within Finance to determine appropriate treatment of transactions and investment earnings.
• Work on projects to enhance the performance of the team, department, and firm.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of accounting experience in the financial service industry, with a solid understanding of investment partnerships preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Public accounting, partnership, and/or financial services experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation:
Salary: $80,000 – $85,000, Plus Bonus
