Company Overview:
A leading environmental advocacy organization is seeking an IT Technician to provide first-tier support for their computing and network environment, ensuring end users receive appropriate assistance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide help desk support for staff and manage client-side hardware
  • Serve as the first-tier level of support for computing or network problems
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting the state of the network and computing equipment
  • Set up and support internal and external videoconferencing
  • Administer user accounts and access rights in Active Directory and cloud services
  • Set up and deploy new desktop systems as needed
  • Diagnose and maintain local systems inventory, system deployments, replacements, and rollouts
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining systems documentation
  • Maintain organizational policies and standards
  • Train users on system usage, procedures, and protocols

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in a related field with 1 year of experience or 3+ years of desktop support experience
  • 1-2 years of networking experience
  • Certification preferred (A+, or Net+)
  • Experience with HP laptops, peripherals, video conferencing systems (Polycom/Zoom), TeamsVoIP, and mobile devices (iOS/Android)
  • 3+ years of experience with corporate applications including Windows, Mac OS, and Microsoft Office 365

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $30 – $38/hr
