Company Overview:
A multi-strategy investment firm seeking a family office CFO to manage the principal’s personal financial affairs. This role involves technical accounting, tax expertise, and investment oversight.

Ideal candidates will pair strong financial acumen with a creative, solutions-oriented approach to integrating AI and automation into day-to-day operations. This includes identifying opportunities to implement tools, redesign processes, and build more efficient systems that elevate the capabilities of a modern, tech-enabled family office.
Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain comprehensive records of personal investments, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and real estate.
• Track capital commitments, distributions, and performance metrics across investments.
• Coordinate and review annual K-1s and partnership statements.
• Manage relationships with wealth managers, brokers, and custodians.
• Support due diligence and financial analysis on new investment opportunities.
• Manage bookkeeping for personal real estate holdings and process property-related expenses.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external tax advisors and support annual tax planning and compliance.
• Oversee the structure and administration of trusts, LLCs, and other entities.
• Prepare periodic consolidated financial reports and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Provide analytical support in evaluating and structuring new investments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
• 2–10 years of experience in accounting, tax, or family office settings.
• Deep understanding of partnership accounting, K-1s, and high-net-worth tax planning.
• Experience with multiple investment types (hedge funds, PE/VC, real estate).
• Strong proficiency with Excel, QuickBooks, or equivalent financial management software.

Compensation:
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000
