Company Overview:
A leading financial services firm specializing in asset management and brokerage is seeking a Head of Operations to enhance and oversee daily operational functions. This role involves direct engagement with the team to identify and resolve operational challenges.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of operations staff across transaction processing, client servicing, and back-office functions.
• Actively monitor workflows, resolve escalations, and assist with day-to-day trade processing.
• Own end-to-end process management to improve operational procedures.
• Partner with Compliance, Risk, and Accounting teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee vendor and counterparty relationships relevant to operations.
• Lead incident response for operational failures, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive automation and technology initiatives to reduce operational risk.
• Maintain the company’s Marine Cargo insurance policy.

Qualifications:

• 10-15+ years of progressive operations experience within financial services.
• Strong working knowledge of physical commodities, products, and back-office processes.
• Experience in managing and motivating teams, including performance management.
• Proficient in operational reporting and data analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $100 – $150/hr, Plus Bonus
