Company Overview:
A global asset manager specializing in alternative credit strategies is seeking a Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing technology team. The role involves designing and implementing asset management systems and deploying AI agents to support various business functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop internal portfolio management systems for positions, transactions, analytics, reporting, and other tools.
• Build scalable applications using microservices and/or event-driven architectures.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Identify automation opportunities and deploy AI-powered tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Work autonomously across multiple projects in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of software engineering experience with strong Java, React, Python, and AI stack.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
• Experience with Java Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar).
• Familiarity with API integrations and data pipeline construction.
• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, and CI/CD tools.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.

Compensation:
Salary: $125,000 – $160,000, Plus Bonus
