Company Overview:
A cutting-edge AI-native operating system company for capital markets is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead technical deployments. The role involves embedding with hedge funds or investment management firms to customize and implement AI products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Embed with a hedge fund or investment management firm as the technical lead on deployment
• Customize products to fit client environments and ship daily workflows
• Engage in real engineering to integrate products with client setups
• Maintain a short feedback loop with end-users to refine deployments
• Focus on building, planning, and decision-making for AI software
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, traders, ops, compliance, and tech leadership

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in AI/ML or software engineering with production agentic work experience
• Strong production-grade Python skills
• Experience with production tool use, planning, and multi-step reasoning
• Expertise in tuning retrieval systems for production
• Ability to choose between off-the-shelf agent frameworks and custom orchestration
• Design experience with evaluation suites for agentic systems
• Experience designing APIs and integrations for production systems
• Proven track record of managing client engagements from kickoff to production
• Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments
• Ability to own customer-facing deployments end to end

Compensation:
Salary: $200,000 – $250,000, Plus Equity
