Company Overview:
A leading financial services company is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to guide technical direction and development for their marketing content and loan acquisition workflow applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set technical direction for application development teams in coordination with product, technology, and enterprise architecture.
• Define roadmaps for migrating monolithic systems to distributed systems and microservices on cloud infrastructure.
• Establish standards and guardrails for systems architecture, design patterns, and code reusability.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assist with their adoption for efficiency and faster time-to-market.
• Demonstrate leadership through influence, participation in communities of practice, and mentoring team members.
• Balance technical leadership with hands-on development tasks.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a focus on the presentation layer.
• Experience with high-traffic, consumer-facing websites on public cloud systems like AWS or Azure.
• Skilled in integrating frontend technologies with APIs and databases.
• Strong DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerization.
• Proficiency in Node.JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, and AWS.
• Bonus': 'AWS certification, Ruby-on-Rails development, design systems implementation, and financial services experience.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $86 – $86/hr, DOE
