Company Overview:
A leading global private equity firm with over $100 billion in investments across more than 1,000 companies worldwide is seeking a Director for Global Management Company Accounting. This role will focus on financial integrity, reporting accuracy, and operational finance infrastructure for the firm's global management entities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the global management company's accounting team through modernization.
  • Standardize global accounting policies and operating procedures across jurisdictions.
  • Drive automation and process redesign to improve reporting transparency and data accessibility.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Head of Firm Finance, CFO, and the finance leadership team.
  • Oversee global accounting operations for all management company entities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage global consolidation of operating entities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Lead annual financial statement audits of management entities.
  • Establish and enforce strong internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Oversee payroll tax compliance and regulatory filings for operating entities.
  • Oversee the global Accounts Payable function, including process design and operational oversight.
  • Partner with the Head of Firm Finance and FP&A team on budgeting and forecasting.
  • Contribute to implementation of an FP&A planning and modeling tool.
  • Provide variance analysis and financial insight to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • CPA required.
  • 12–15+ years of experience in asset management, private equity, or alternative investments.
  • Experience leading management company accounting within an investment firm.
  • Deep knowledge of revenue recognition for management fees, multi-entity global consolidations, U.S. GAAP / IFRS.
  • Experience managing accounting teams across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience leading finance process transformation and automation initiatives.
  • Strong ERP (D365) and systems expertise.

Compensation:
Salary: $200,000 – $300,000, Plus Bonus
