Company Overview:
A leading global alternative investment manager offers clients primary and secondary investment solutions across credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes. They are seeking an Investment Operations Senior Associate to support their investment platform.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of reconciliation and operational processes.
  • Resolve complex operational exceptions through investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
  • Partner with various departments to resolve operational issues and improve workflows.
  • Build relationships with custodian banks, agent banks, and external service providers.
  • Review and challenge fund administrator processing for accuracy and adherence to standards.
  • Contribute to initiatives that automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Support system enhancements, platform migrations, and new business implementations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve scalability.
  • Assist in developing operational KPIs and reporting.
  • Participate in testing activities for new systems and process enhancements.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and strategic process improvement projects.
  • Support implementation of technology-enabled solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 4–8 years of experience in Investment Operations or related financial services functions.
  • Extensive experience with bank loan operations, private credit, syndicated loans, or alternative investments.
  • Experience leading operational improvement initiatives and business transformation projects.
  • Strong experience managing complex operational risk and designing control frameworks.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Technology on automation and system implementations.
  • Strong understanding of investment operations, accounting principles, and operational controls.
  • Experience with custodian banks, agent banks, broker dealers, and fund administrators.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analytics tools.
  • Experience with Wall Street Office, Geneva, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Power Automate, or similar technologies is desirable.
  • Experience within alternative investments, private credit, private equity, or hedge funds is preferred.

Compensation:
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000, Plus Bonus
