Company Overview:
A leading global alternative investment manager offers clients primary and secondary investment solutions across credit, private equity, real estate, and infrastructure asset classes. They are seeking a Vice President, Investment Accounting to lead their New York team and drive accounting, reporting, and analytical infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the New York Investment Accounting team, setting priorities and building a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Serve as a senior accounting partner on complex investments and transactions, reviewing credit terms and fee structures.
• Oversee key monthly and quarterly reporting deliverables and provide decision-useful analysis to Investor Relations and senior leadership.
• Lead technology and transformation initiatives, including workflow redesign and system implementations.
• Act as a trusted point of coordination across Investment Operations and external partners to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline required.
• CPA or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in investment accounting, public accounting, or a related financial-services discipline.
• Strong understanding of alternative investments and transaction structures, particularly private credit.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required; Power BI, Alteryx, Anaplan, or similar tools are a plus.

Compensation:
Pay Rate: $75 – $140/hr
